Every year approximately 250,000 tested measuring points leave our company, with a standard lead time of 7 to 10 days. Our production network is based on state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and standardized, globally networked production plants. Pin-in-paste reflow is a new process developed at Endress+Hauser Flow for fully automatic assembly of large electronic components on printed circuit boards. With pin-in-paste reflow, the engineers at Endress+Hauser Flow have developed a process that eliminates manual assembly and soldering processes that were labor-intensive, error-prone and sometimes deficient. This has significantly increased process reliability and process quality.
Committed to quality
Our measuring tube production is set up according to lean and Kaizen principles. Testing and measuring points called quality gates are installed for every process step, allowing us to control and monitor production processes. In applicable process steps, parts subjected to pressure and that come into contact with the medium are also measured individually, allowing the creation of material certification from start to finish and ensuring traceability for all processes and materials in use.
The heart of the electromagnetic flowmeters
Every year, we produce over 100,000 electromagnetic flowmeters from DN 2 to 2400 mm. In our plant in Cernay, France, we have highly qualified expertise in apparatus engineering and close cooperation with our key supplier for the measuring tubes. These serve as a benchmark for measuring tube production at the other production locations. For the lining of the measuring tubes, procedures and processes that we developed in Cernay are used worldwide as standard.
State-of the-art calibration rigs
Long-term stability and guaranteed, traceable accuracy are essential aspects of flow measurement. Therefore, our flowmeters are subjected to strict quality checks and are tested, calibrated and adjusted on the world’s most modern calibration rigs. We combine 40-plus years of experience in developing and building high-accuracy calibration rigs with state-of-the-art control and measuring technology. All our rigs are accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Service (SAS) according to ISO/IEC 17025.
PremiumCal – Worlds best production calibration facilities
We offer PremiumCal – the world’s best production calibration facilities in Reinach (Switzerland) and Greenwood (USA). With these accredited and fully traceable calibration facilities, Promass F/O/X Coriolis mass flowmeters (DN 8 to 400) can be calibrated to a maximum measured error of ±0.05% with a previously unreached measuring uncertainty of better than ±0.015%. This value corresponds to the volume of a champagne glass relative to 1000 liters of water!
